Out of curiosity, why is the prefered over paypal?

Easy. It is my bancaccount to Little Golem, without in between step.

Paypal seems to garantuee that the money is there, So does a regular european banc.

Why would you need a step in between if you can go straight?

I don't do paypal. They pretend to be a bank, but have none of the on-paper security that a bank is covered by (hah!).

To me, as to Hjallti, the most sensible method of transferring money from one person to another is to transfer money from one person directly to another. Not to transfer it to a third party, reassign its ownership as viewed by the third party, and then extract it from that third party.

So, should we send cash through the mail? Or gold bullion? :)

I don't trust PayPal either. They want to be way too snoopy about my checking account. I opened a special ATM-only account at a different bank and never keep more in it than I would care to lose, and that's the only account I let PayPal know about.

éMarleysGhost: You might not be aware of it, as most Europeans are not aware of it (as proofed by the Germans lately but monetarily spoken the euro-zone is a single country. As Paypall might be a nice service to overcome differences among countries it makes no sense to me to use to bring money from Belgium to Slovakia, which are both Euro-zone nations.
