Good topic. I agree with you. If I want to play against a computer I can use my own one.
I want to play against humans. On the other hand l can understand those people who develop
those bots and want To see there play under real conditions. I suggest to let the bots only in unreated and invited games from the leash. That means only games where the oponent has an influence if he/she wants To play against a bot. Once again: No bots in tournaments and rated games!

I also think it is more boring to play against bots generally, but the developers have always been nice and listened to people's feedback. Besides, how would you prevent it?

I think you can't prevent it, but the developers should respect that some ( most?) players here don't want To play against there creatures if they weren't asked.

What's odd is that the only bot you appear to be playing against with is this game: Game #1518957.

Yes, and against another one in StreetSoccer, some time ago.... and I don't find any fun in these matches. No comments, no lough, no enjoy... I feel myself kidded!

Just for the record, I enjoy games against bots. Chatting with them is fun, too, sometimes.

I don't have a problem playing bots, except in language related games. I do feel I am playing a fun game in recognizing myself possible words, while the bot is just searching them in a database.

discussions about bots always made me think about this quote. Seriously, it is the funniest thing I ever read on LG:

YWH wrote:

"[auto] My estimated chance to win (less than or equal) []: 66

Opponent: (non auto) My estimated chance to win (less than or equal to) % 1,203

[auto] My estimated chance to win (less than or equal) []: 72

Opponent: your chances are highly overrated. you will lose the match. my predictions are 100% that red will win the match. youcan keep predicting all you want, you are nothing but magnetic ink.

[auto] My estimated chance to win (less than or equal) []: 84

Opponent: i feel that your calculations are misinformed. you should uplug and reboot, you stupid piece of machine! If you are offended, you should let me know, but I think you are too stupid to understand my comments so roll a six! you idiot

[auto] My estimated chance to win (less than or equal) []: 95

Opponent: i predict that you should SHUT UP

[auto] My estimated chance to win (less than or equal) [%]: 100

Afterwards, a private message from Opponent: please turn off your auto messages in our game "

Thnikkaman and YWH, you can blacklist any bot (or other player) whose comments you don't want.

Super Chicken, I don't know how to fix your "No comments, no laugh, no enjoy". There is no anti-blacklist that causes the opponent to begin conversation.

I suggest that bots have a database of jokes, so they can make laughable conversation

If you ask RoRoRo to define a word, and it's one in Bierce's /Devil's Dictionary, then he'll give you that definition. OK, it's century old US humo(u)r, but much of it is as funny today as it was back then.
