Can't read messages

I have two new messages (according to the box on top) but they don't show in the list of messages screen. Is anyone else having this problem? My first thought was it was an artifact of the clock problem, but since no one else has mentioned it, I suppose it's specific to me and/or my messages.

I've had new messages appear in the middle of my message list due to the time weirdness, perhaps that's what is happening?
