An attempt to bury the pope Jean Pawel is dying thread I imagine.

This week, evangelical Christian author Warren Smith made waves with his essay

“A Vote for Romney is a Vote for the LDS Church,†a candid and forthright exposition of evangelical Christian objections to the presidential campaigns of Mitt Romney and, by extension, Jon Huntsman. (The headline for Smith’’s essay was modeled after evangelist Bill Keller’’s famous 2008 campaign commentary that “A vote for Romney is a vote for Satan.â€) Given historical tensions between Mormons and evangelical Christians in the United States, it set off strong reactions in LDS communities. Today, Smith graciously agreed to speak with me about the article and his views on the Romney campaign.

Wakai Yushi, you seem to be obsessed. It would be nice if you would only post these kind of things to one thread only (as you did before the exhumed religious leader thread appeared). Seriously, I've got nothing personal against you, but what you are doing right now is not discussing, it's spamming, this thread has nothing to do with religion!

Carrol, that does not work. He needs to respond only once, and that will he do, and he is already back up to date. At some point, the madness is in every topic or the forum is broken, that's exactly what he wanted. You are becoming his tool right now. You are destroying everything!

Thanks for stopping this. Now, please start clean up this battlefield again, it's easter time ;)

...and please no other emotional reaction or response to Wakai Yushi anymore from no one. He's acting like a typical troll.

Wow, Caroll actually moved it back to page 50. For his/her sake, I hope (s)he had some kind of script....

no-script, just a one-liner...

Carroll has nothing better to do than spend half a day ruining our community forum? I vote that he be banished to trolldom! Does the webmaster have the power to fix this corruption?

Carroll is not the problem

#18 · Doctor_Strange

6 Apr 2012

yes, carroll is the problem! He is over-reacting to a personal issue and his reaction is affecting us all. There were other ways he could have dealt with the problem.

I agree. I vote we (Richard) adds an improved "Blacklist" feature. When A blacklists B, then A can't see B's posts anymore.

We know that he/she was over-reacting, but that's not the problem. He/she wanted to ban at least one troll. If you would have any constructive proposals on this topic, write your suggestions in this thread:

It is obvious that Carroll has an objection to something, but what is his objection???? All I see is him hi-jacking the forum, and people defending him, saying he is not the problem? I think Carroll's actions are a VERY big problem, regardless of his reasons!! I hope that he would have the sense to cease his destructive behavior.

Carroll, What is the objection?? Do you merely object to the fact that Wakai rants nonsensically? Or is there a specific thing that he said that offended you? Or maybe it has nothing to do with Wakai and it is a different issue altogether? Please state your objection for the record!! You certainly have our attention!

Carroll has stopped when he was asked to, so I don't think other measures are necessary. His intention was to bury a few threads, but it didn't work. I think he would rather do without the attention he brought to himself.

Yes following the advice of some nice LG friends, I do apologize for my childish reaction to some unimportant rumbling.

Anyone who had a threat he cherished buried down in the process can ask me, I'm a good thread digger.

And be assured that Carroll threads will disappear in a short time while you post these interesting ideas, as I'll take a break from at least LG forum.

Thanks to Richard and all that supported me, by not posting acid remarks as they could have done, about the way I behaved.

No problem. It wasn't annoying since the intention could be guessed from the beginning. I think the reaction to it was a bit high too. Sort of overreacting the overreaction ;-) It is hard to please everybody with people from all over the world with so different backgrounds, but that's the beauty of it too.
