Empathy Game: Photography

On page http://www.littlegolem.net/jsp/egame/exp2.jsp is experiment with a new kind of empathy game. You must on photo mark three most important points.

You will score according to distance from other's points. I will send results next week.

It's probably because of your browser, I guess it's optimized for firefox, because for me it works fine. You see the increment is each time 52 pixels, that's because of the added crosshairs, so it makes sence, but each browser does it a little bit different.

Simple scoring

In this method players score 2 points for every pair in distance 25 pixels or less (it is radius of circle) and 1 point for pair in distance 50. Maximum for two players is 6 points (there was only one pair of players - celiorod and Thomas Werner) with 6 points;

Complex scoring

Scoring for pair of points is calculated as 25/ distance or 1.0 if distance is less than 25 pixels. There is weight 1.0 for best pair, 1/2 for second pair, 1/3 for third pair. Max score for two players is 1+1/2+1/3 = 1 5/6

I am currently winning "the aftergame".

I would like to see this variant played as a normal empathy every couple of days or even daily. There is a problem with the choice of pictures. I think the best solution would be for Richard to chose pictures by himself maybe in advance for some long period. The players choice might carry to much problems mostly with moderation.

would a game similar to the game"Google Image Labeler"that existed for a while be an idea here?

I just took the lead in the simple scoring with 160 points -- by pushing all crosshairs as close as possible together in the most frequented place. Before that I was scoring quite badly (6 points). :-)

oh, im not bad :) how about more pictures?
