Kidnapped by rodents and raised in a burrow, Lars didn't see sunlight until five years old and other people until ten. He then became known as 'the mole boy' to circus visitors, until a caring lady bought his freedom at the age of forty-three. He now works as a garden gnome and pretends that he can play Go.
