I use opening books and databases (including tablebases) during the game to help me with my chess, but I don't use engines under any circumstances. I find that this helps me learn openings and endgames as I play on LG. If you would like me to play without aid (if you do so yourself), please let me know, and I will be happy to comply! In other games, I occasionally move the pieces around on a physical board (dvonn, breakthrough), but don't use any controversial help.
