i allow paper aids (f.e. i analyse most of my amazons game on paper) not all games are equal, statistically i spend 10-15 minutes on each move in amazons (i don't play amazon anymore because of cheaters plague), 1-2 minutes in chess,5-10s in go and 15-30s in havannah. i prefer playing chess & go OTB. apparently there are no opening books and no well-understood middle game strategies in amazons. i used to play chess (approx 2000-2100) and go (6k - gokgs.com) best ratings: amazons - 2006 havannah - 1849 i work at Google. i live in Cracow. I stopped playing games that are easy to cheat at. (except for chess) |
