Reply to this topic Return to forumHello. I don't understnd the rules of championship.
Someone to explain them to me? Thanks. Marco.
(L'italiano è gradito)
First level = Serie A
Second level = Serie B
Third level = Serie C
etc.
It's just the same as in Italian football. The idea behind the championship is that Serie C's winners go up to Serie B, Serie B winners go to Serie A. Serie A losers go down to Serie B, etc. The best players are playing in the Serie A. There are a few small exceptions about who plays in which league. It's explained on the Hex-forum.
these are the rules about who plays in each league:
Algorithm for championship:
Create list of participants where are all players who registered for next championship
From this list are abolished inactive players
Players which are in TOP10 and they are in participants and they never play in 1st league are
moved from participants to participants_1st_league
Top5 players from 1st league are moved from participants to participants_1st_league
Top2 players from 2st league are moved from participants to participants_1st_league
If in participants_1st_league is less than 9 players, players are added from 1st league (6th,7th,…etc)
Other players from 1st league are moved from participants to participants_2nd_league
etc for others leagues..
these rules are copy from Richard's post from the Hex forum.
I am playing in championship league 4 group 1 now and have won. Not all the games are finished yet, but all my games are. Will I be scheduled in League 3 the next championship or am I going directly to League 1?
You will go to League 3, unless you are among the 10 hishest rated players. If you are (and you've never played in League 1) then you'll be added to League 1.
It seems to me that league 2 is also possible in case of lot inactives and withdrawals, but I guess changes are slim….
