The Mind Sports Olympiad starts shortly in London, see www.msoworld.com. There are some exciting Go events which may be of interest…all with prizes (a first for many years):

Sunday, August 24

\* Go 9x9

- prizes are Gold medal £40, Silver £30, and Bronze £20

\* Go 13x13

- prizes are Gold medal £80 Silver £40, and Bronze £20

Monday, August 25

\* Go 19x19

- prizes are Gold medal £125, Silver £75, and Bronze £50

Hopefully some players from Little Golem will be able to make it. Results will be posted on the website.

Five years later…  Pentamind World Championship 2019 prizes: £500 for 1st, £150 for 2nd, and £75 for 3rd

£75 will be awarded to the Women/Senior/Junior’s Pentamind World Champion.

Go 13×13: £60 for 1st, £30 for 2nd, and £20 for 3rd

Go 19×19: £200 for 1st, £100 for 2nd, and £50 for 3rd - This event takes place tomorrow (Monday, August 26th, 10 A.M. London time)
