I'd really like to see Catchup played on a bigger board, but possibly one with some quirky characteristics as well. I'd really like to see if & how the game changes when the board is 2x or 3x the size it currently is, and don't have a whole lot of opportunity outside of LG. I have this suspicion that there's deeper early strategy on a larger board, but don't know for sure.

Random is okay, but there's so much dead space on most random boards that the games actually tend to be shorter than the hexhex5. And honestly, I just want to play more games of this.

Richard implemented a size 7 (127 cells) board for Catchup today. It's playable for ranked games and Infinity.

I think I've gotten a chance to play this size once or twice, using the old rules on IGG, when we were still struggling to really know how to play. I'm excited to give it a shot and think it will free up early game strategy.
