Einstein Insanity #2 begins June 10, 2013

Einstein Insanity #2 double round robin 50 point matches!

The first insanity began June 1 2012 and one year later, none of the four preliminary sections are complete… (One section has zero games finished except for one player who timed out of all his games)

    Are you crazy enough??

    YES!

    Thank you Ray!

This tournament just ended, I won my own tournament!  I won 13 of 14 matches (only a one round tournament).  The event took more than SEVEN years!  Not quite the decades long event I predicted.  I created four different einstein insanity tournaments (between 2012 and 2017), the other three are still going.  The first insanity started in 2012 and is in the second round.  That one is looking like it will be a decade long event.

LG is nuts for these long competitions.

    There's a 37x37 Go game that's celebrating its 3rd birthday tomorrow.

Nice, we need more blitz tournaments like that!

    Yes! :-)

I´m open for a 5th Insanity tournament with fast player. But have we enough player  to play it in may be 3 month to end?

    Who will be in?

  • Paul Wiselius at 2020-09-30

@opmp: let's say an average 50-points game takes 1500 moves, then to finish a game in 100 days you must play 15 moves per game per day, that is quite a lot. I think my average is somewhere between 1 and 3 per day. So if I am in, count with 2 to 3 years…
