This is what's wrong with einstein!

Hey, check out my latest game of einstein:

Any tips on how I can improve my play? ;)

(btw this is not a serious critique of the game. I enjoy playing it a lot, but I don't think it is suited for top-play. Especially not 1-point matches.

    Fantastic performance by Micco:

Straight forward to the win, what a home run.

    Congratulations!

And in this sense Ewn is similar to life:

Things happen. Don't complain about elements

of chance. Stand up again and look for the next

    opportunity.

    Ingo.

    Hehe, very inspirational words :)

Don't feel too bad. According to my back of the envelope calculation nearly 1 out of every 500 games should play out this way. :)

Yeah – This has happened to me as well. It's neat, and luckily doesn't come up too much.

Thnikkaman, this time you played perfect. Usually there are more chances for bad moves. Just play more often…

Right, it is a seldom event. But it is fully

    intended - a part of Ewn's character.

Here in the forum we even have a thread called

“pearls of luck”. I am still waiting for an event

like the following: two players meeting in a

tournament, one rated 1300, the other one 1800.

    > They play best of 5; and the favourite is winning

    > games 1 and 2 convincingly. But then our 1300-friend

    > gets a lucky streak:

    > winning one game in three moves (bringing the score to 1-2)

    > winning another game in three moves (2-2 now)

    > and finally winning one more game in 3 moves; claiming 3-2 overall win.

    > That would be luck!

@Michael X: I think you missed Thnikkaman's smiley. His comment gave me a nice chuckle.

@Ingo: The back of my envelope is getting crowded, but 500^3 = 125,000,000 so, unfortunately, I think there is a better chance of winning just about any lottery played anywhere in the world than seeing your very cute and funny event happening.
