new rating system: does it matter if you win 5-0 or 4-1?

With the recent overhaul of the rating systems for all games, I suspect that it no longer matters if you win 5-0 or 4-1, I think they are rated the same now. (In the older rating system, you would win more rating points by winning 5-0 vs 4-1)

Here is one example. I lost two games in current championship to tgis, one I lost 5-0, the other 4-1, and I lost about the same rating points for each game. ( I lost 11.8 for the 4-1 loss and I lost 11.6 for the 5-0 loss)

Any other thoughts? I wonder what happens in a tie?

It's hard for me to form any definitive opinion, but I tend to agree that 5-0 is treated the same way as 4-1.

I'm guessing that ties are treated the same way as ties in chess, which is probably as midway between 0-1 and 1-0.

Ratings will be recalculated tonight. They have always calculated ratings for StreetSoccer so a 4-1 win is different than a 5-0 win. That's been forgotten in the new calculation. Same goes for Hahn's version of the go game.
