This has been discussed in the past. If I remember well, the solution for the trapped player (Yellow here), is to move the player which stands next to the ball outside of the lines, so 1 place up if you get an odd number or diagonally if you get an even number. This way the trapping player (Red here) will be forced in the next move to either kick the ball out of the trapping are or open the position by moving one of the players.
Then, in the following move the Yellow player can kick the ball outside - provided he gets a high enough number.
