I thought there’s a bug in the position of my last move https://littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=2184980&nmove=32 , since my player should be at the bottom row (where the ball had been in the previous move https://littlegolem.net/jsp/game/game.jsp?gid=2184980&nmove=31 ) instead of the second row from the bottom, which wouldn't allow a chance for scoring in the next move.

Basically, if the ball is moved a player must be at the ball's previous position, if I understand the rules correctly.

No, it is not a bug. Players, except the goalkeeper, cannot stay in the spots next to the goalpost. So, they are moved vertically just after kicking the ball. One, two, sometimes even more spots if there are other players there.

Thanks for the explanation! Now I read the rules again, this seems to be implied by the following:

• Only the keeper may move to one of the two spaces in front of his goal. (Except if there is a ball)
• Only one outfielder can be in the 2 spaces in his own penalty area.

This is the first time I notice this and it's interesting how the it's implemented by pushing the player 'vertically' out of the penalty area :-P
