I too would like to see what the opponent threw after I made my move. It would fill me with either joy, or dread, and make my anticipation level rise, which would move the games along even faster.
And it would also be good to see the last move of the opponent after opening the game window. It would be fine if just the old and new square of the moved figure were marked.
This would help to get into the game, i. e. remember what one thought and planned before the previous move.
