Last year, the Tumbleweed event at the MSO was very successful, and there were a number of players from Little Golem who participated. The Tumbleweed event at the 2022 MSO is happening tomorrow on Board Game Arena at 19:00 BST.

If you are below 100 Elo and would still like to participate (which I strongly encourage, as it will be a lot of fun!), then click the “BGA INVITATION REQUEST” link on the MSO Tumbleweed page. That will take you to a short Google form, where you can request a special invitation to the tournament.

As a final note, Tumbleweed is similar to both Amazons and Go. If you have yet to try Tumbleweed, but you enjoy Amazons or Go, then I suspect you will enjoy Tumbleweed as well (and any strong Amazons / Go players will likely pick up Tumbleweed very quickly)!

Last time, I was unable to register because I hadn't reached a rating of 100 ELO. It takes 3-4 wins to do that, so you might want to get started, quick!

I should also mention that the special request form for those below 100 Elo can be filled out up to two hours before the tournament, so there is still a short amount of time remaining for those who’d like to join!
