How long has the site been running?
With a minor exception or two, Little Golem has been up continuously since March of 2002.

p.s. now it's .net but it was .org

If the date's in dispute, we should celebrate both. I'll take an excuse to eat birthday cake twice. And maybe a third by celebrating early.

From what I can tell, the first tournaments were go9, go13 and go19 and they started on March 5,2002. Game #1 was go13. The first registered players were all on March 6, 2002 (so the day after the first tournaments began). the lowest member # is #6 (Richard is #1002), and player #1 is “system” (There are no players 2 thru 5). (Hjalti, where did you get Feb. 1 as the start date?)

It is true that there are a lot of new websites of boardgaming, but LG has a mysticism. LG it is a community.
