gwg_robot is a program which finds the highest-scoring word in Golem's Word Game. It always plays the highest-scoring word available, and knows nothing about lookahead or defensive play. This should make it possible for strong players to beat it.

gwg_robot is no longer issuing invitations in the waiting room. But it is still happy to accept challenges. If you want to play it, challenge it directly, and it will probably accept.

If there are several words with the same highest score, it plays the one that it finds first, scanning the grid from left to right and top to bottom in reading order.

It now uses the automated bidding mechanism. Its bid is the value of the highest word available, multiplied by 0.8, and rounded down to a half-integer.
