If I understood correctly, the starting position is drawn at random here on LG. But it seems there is no information on this position in the SGF records. It would be nice if the initial position were described prior to the moves, because it would allow the opening of an SGF by some replayer to visualise a Morelli game, like those at trmph.com.

(OK, there is indeed information on the initial position in the SGF, since we know the colour of each piece moved; but not all the pieces may move in a game (-:)
