I was wondering what some of the stronger players thoughts were on what order they would prefer to move in. I always thought that going first was easier since if you made your first move in the middle it would be easier for the second player to mess up while trying to form an odd # of chains but I've been looking at some championship games from first league players and often some of the strongest players will move in an outer region to start. Is my strategy for playing first a bad one and again I was just wondering what peoples thoughts were on who may have an advantage, if only a slight one, about going first or second.
