Richard, would it be possible to have the full rating list exclude people who've never started a game? That way the list could give us a sense of where we stand relative to thers who actually play the game here, as it does for other games.

Yes, I agree. I and many others have argued for a long time for getting a chess rating list that only includes players who actually play. One suggestion have been to have only players included that e.g have played at least 10 games. Many other suggestions have been raised. There are several players on 2100, 2000, 1800 and so on that never played a single game.
